Ana Cenamo
I am a mother of three women, tutor of three dogs and three cats. Psychoanalyst, geographer, impact film entrepreneur, and composer-singer of medicine music. I founded Spanda Produtora in 2014 to expand consciousness and create audiovisual works that bridge ancestral wisdom, mental health, and ecological regeneration. My productions include Leões de Paraisópolis: o Rugby que veio da favela (2018), created in partnership with ESPN, and Regenerar: Caminhos Possíveis em um Planeta Machucado (2022), an award-winning documentary featuring thinkers like Báyọ̀ Akómọláfé. I’m currently co-creating a new film project with him: Times Are Urgent, Let Us Slow Down — a poetic journey weaving climate crisis, Yoruba cosmologies, and decolonial imaginations. My clinical work integrates Lacanian psychoanalysis, symbolic listening, and psychedelic-assisted therapy, supporting adults and elders through grief, life transitions, and expanded states of consciousness. I am co-author of a chapter on the therapeutic use of ketamine (2025), and co-creator of Emanazul — a musical duo that explores sound as ritual for healing and reconnection.
