Facial Recognition for Plants! We have designed a data service for biodiversity, which uses readily available high resolution satellite imagery (globally available) and deep learning AI, to recognise categorise and quantify habitat - at scale. For the first time you can have site level, decision-ready data - in minutes instead of months. Problem: Site level data is not available at scale today. We are still largely dependent on gathering data onsite. This doesn't scale. Large scale data sets don't work either, as they were not designed to support biodiversity assessment, action plans or tracking change at the site level. Our solution: leverage widely available technolgoy and apply facial recognition technology to the field of ecology. We have fully automated this, to give the world's first fully-automated, site level data service. We have EUR500,000 of undiluted funding committed for the next 12 months. We are raising EUR 2m in a seed round to give working capital to market our service., We currently serve ecological consultants, infrastructure engineers, water, renewable energy, mining, development and landscape architects. We aslo provide data to public sector in cities.
