Trucks and Fins – Mapping the World's Skateparks Trucks and Fins is the world’s largest skatepark directory, connecting skaters to over 23,000 skateparks across the globe. We’re not just mapping — we’re visiting, photographing, filming, and archiving skateparks to preserve skate culture and help skaters discover new places to ride. We’ve already documented over 19% of the world’s total through our grassroots skatepark tours. Our mission is to inspire travel, support local scenes, and help city halls and brands make smarter decisions by offering real skater insights and visibility. This project has a real social and cultural impact: We empower skaters with tools to explore the world. We advocate for better skateparks and give visibility to hidden gems. We create opportunities for tourism, inclusion, and youth activity. We support skate related voluntary projects around the world. With over 13 million organic views per year, we’re proving that skateboarding is more than a sport — it’s a global community. The €7,000 prize would help us continue our European documentation tour, support grassroots scenes, and grow our tech to better serve the worldwide skate community.
