A lot of interactive products have adopted touch sensitivity. While that is cool and modern, I find the complex mechanisms unimportant and not really user intuitive.
I also find myself craving that tactile feeling you get from buttons and scroll wheels. Hence my concept design for a monitor light bar with an ACTUAL scroll wheel that scrolls like a wheel and clicks like a button. I also made use of corrugated glass made from recycled glass bottles to cover the light bar and give that vintage florescent bulb feel.
