At first glance, it might look like just another clean-up by a group of volunteers. And that’s true! But our goal goes further: we want to inspire others and raise awareness about responsible waste disposal.
The unique twist? Our Impact Hero Shirts.
Each time a community member joins an event, they receive a special sticker to add to their shirt. Over time, the same t-shirt becomes a colorful record of their contributions, i.e., a visual story of impact.
Even better, participants choose where to place each new sticker, making every Action Hero Shirt a one-of-a-kind design!
With this creative approach, we encourage people to return for future events, celebrate their achievements, and reduce waste by reusing the same t-shirt, and adding only a fresh sticker each time.
And, of course, we want to limit, if not completely phase out, reliance on government subsidies, so those funds can be redirected to other needs. Naturally, we still require funding, and we envision this coming from commercial organizations that wish to be more involved in community-oriented projects and demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact. So their logo on our t-shirts as sponsors or their prizes to participants will be always welcomed!
