This bio-inspired solution took pine cones as role models and copied their humidity-powered movements. In this project moisture-driven, 3D printed composites were developed and designed using a novel parametric software. Everything was open-sourced and compostable materials were used!
Why is it revolutionary? These material adapt to their surroundings and morph autonomously, no motors and no sensors!
