PB-Core OS is the operating system that runs FRYNIUS, our robotic kitchen for fried food. Our first FRYNIUS MVP focused on fried food preparation is already running reliably. In the past four weeks more than 20 restaurateurs visited our lab to see the system operating live and evaluate the concept.
The biggest challenge with PB-Core OS was not building an intelligent robotic kitchen. Building a powerful but complex system is relatively easy.
The real challenge was making a highly capable system so intuitive that it requires virtually no training while integrating seamlessly into the extremely dynamic environment of a professional kitchen.
PB-Core OS addresses this through several key principles:
• Dual-input (freshly breaded and frozen food) with mixed-order architecture (Delivery Plattform, Kiosk, HMI) enabling parallel processing of multi orders.
• Modular platform design allowing new kitchen devices to be integrated over time.
• Process-oriented orchestration coordinating robotics, kitchen devices and automation systems.
• Predictive planning and adaptive process control to maintain stable performance during peak demand.
PERSOBOTS is building robotic kitchens that work intelligently, integrate as collaborative team members and are productive from day one.
All of this is laying the groundwork for the Unmanned Quick Restaurant.
