Kenoteq's award-winning K-BRIQ® has now achieved product certification in its home country, the United Kingdom (BBA Certificate 25/7367) and the United States (TER 2404-10), being one of the first sustainable brick products to be formally certified and recognised for large-scale commercial use. European product certification is underway.
The K-BRIQ® is made from over 90% recycled construction and demolition waste together with recycled pigments and the company's proprietary binder to create a high performance ultra low carbon brick, with over 95% less embodied carbon than a traditional clay brick product.
The product continues to be specified across a high number of commercial, public and residential projects, in facades, plinthwork, features and stand-alone exterior walling. The first full-scale facade will be unveiled on a London theatre in Summer 2026.
