At Kigezi Community School, we are already taking action to address climate change by educating the young generation about environmental conservation and sustainability. Through practical learning, our pupils are being taught the importance of tree planting, waste management, soil conservation, clean energy use, and responsible farming practices. Through Roots of Impact Development Initiative (RIDI), we are strengthening climate education with hands-on activities such as establishing school tree nurseries, promoting indigenous tree planting, and encouraging climate-smart agriculture within the community.
