Most learning programs operate on a simple assumption: if you consume enough information, you will develop competence.
This assumption is false. And in the context of the Human Economy, it is dangerously false.
Reading about presence does not develop presence. Watching a video about relational intelligence does not build relational intelligence. Listening to an audio on ethical discernment does not produce ethical discernment. Information, however well-structured and well-delivered, cannot substitute for the lived, embodied, challenged experience through which human capacities are actually formed.
