Is finding a technical co-founder really that necessary?
I’m starting a small series to share things I’ve learnt from the founders and community members I’ve met while building

Lately I’ve been asking myself: Do I actually need a technical co-founder right now? It turns out the answer depends on two things: intention and timing.
I spoke to two talented solo-founders:

With Maximilian, we landed on two philosophies that we both follow: “If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no,” and “Trust the process.” He asked me why I wanted a co-founder in the first place, and he reminded me that without shared vision, a co-founder becomes a prop for funding, which isn’t fair to anyone.
With Atinder, the emphasis was timing. Maybe it’s simply not the moment for a co-founder. Tools like Lovable and Figma make early demos very possible, and the MVP isn’t as impossible as I thought.
All of this helped me realise that the solo-founder route makes sense for now. And the best part? Community fills so many of the gaps I thought I had, which is exactly the culture we’re building with Pax Social. 🌱
