Check out the first building with Rematter’s robotically prefabricated floor slabs that are made out of rammed earth and timber.
🌱Impact: compared to reinforced concrete slabs, this project results in
- 88% less CO2: 24 tons CO2-eq
- 60% less embodied energy: 47‘700 kWh oil-eq
- 90 tons of fully reusable earth material and
- 5.8 tons of biogenic carbon is bound in the timber of the Rematter floor slabs, which corresponds to approximately 21 tons of CO2.
