👋 Hi everyone, excited to share what we’re building at Bloomineral! We’re a deeptech startup turning captured CO₂ into high-performance minerals using biomineralization (the same process nature has used for millions of years to form shells, corals, and limestone). Our goal is simple but ambitious: Materials shouldn’t just emit carbon. They should store it. By growing ultra-pure, carbon-negative calcium carbonate with algae and light, we’re creating the next-generation ingredients for construction, paints, coatings, and personal care. Same performance as traditional minerals (or even better), but with permanent carbon storage built in. We’ve reached TRL 4, validated 100% pure CaCO₃ in the lab, filed our core patent, and are planning on building our pilot in the coming year. Bloomineral is still early, but we’re moving fast and learning even faster.
