Transforming Waste to Energy Nigeria, besides its developmental and local unemployment issues, faces a plastic waste crisis, that seems to be building up as its human population continues to increase, polluting both lands and water bodies. The necessity to curb this menace and save the immediate environment and communities cannot be overemphasized. The waste-to-fuel micro-refineries initiative offer a sustainable solution to curtail and or reduce these issues. Converting non-recyclable plastic into clean fuel, while reducing pollution, protecting our precious environment and at the same time reducing unemployment. This initiative seeks, through proper education and collaboration with the local communities, the transformation of waste to energy; to tackle pollution, unemployment, and energy shortages.
