Overheating is becoming a critical challenge in construction - and we're tackling it head on. Proud to share that our pilot at Imperial College London's White City Campus with Careys construction is now live! The UK is warming rapidly, and overheating is no longer a future risk - it's an immediate public health and workplace issue. Heat-related illnesses are rising, and construction sites are among the most exposed environments. Temporary site offices, in particular, can reach uncomfortable temperatures during heatwaves. Emissiv's radiative cooling paint reflects sunlight and emits heat as infrared radiation into outer space, enabling surfaces to remain cooler than the surrounding air. This pilot tests performance under real construction conditions, comparing a site unit coated with our cooling paint against a standard yellow unit and an air-conditioned unit. Conducted at Imperial's White City Innovation District, we're excited to be generating validated temperature data while delivering cooling impact this summer. Grateful to the Careys and Imperial College London teams for backing climate innovation and demonstrating what heat-resilience construction can look like! We'll be attending Reset Connect in London next week and would love to connect to discuss how we can improve the heat resilience of your assets. We'd also appreciate your vote in the INSPIRED competition to win £10,000 here: app.inspired.ch/community/3m... , which would enable us to procure critical measurement equipment to conduct more pilots across the UK. Thank you!

We're excited to introduce Emissiv to the INSPIRED community! We're a ClimateTech start-up based at Imperial College London, making paints to cool buildings and software to verify it. Our radiative cooling paints cool by over 15°C, save air-con use by 20% and can prevent up to 200 megatons of CO2e if scaled up globally. We're taking climate impact further by developing the world's first recycled radiative cooling paint - upcycling the 34 million litres of paint discarded in the UK and reducing landfill, emissions and costs. We're piloting in the UK with innovation-forward companies such as the Earls Court Development Company, Places for People and Careys. If you're exploring sustainable cooling solutions for your home or property portfolio, we'd be excited to discuss a pilot at a 10% discount to retail price, register your interest here: forms.office.com/e/9MQauTqeLJ Let's build the future of cooling, together!
