Today, I am honored to share that I will be speaking at an event on Democracy and Women’s Voices in Eskilstuna—the very city where my journey in Sweden began.
Over a decade ago, I arrived in this city as a refugee carrying uncertainty, grief, and a dream for a better future. I could never have imagined that one day I would return, not as a newcomer searching for belonging, but as an author, speaker, and advocate sharing my story and speaking about the importance of women’s voices.
This invitation is a reminder that our voices matter.
That our stories matter.
And that when women dare to speak, they create change, not only for themselves, but for future generations.
