Mycrobez is developing a globally unique process for the production of natural foam. The so-called mycelium composite consists of the root network of fungi, the mycelium, and locally sourced biological side streams. Our process innovation enables the first scaled production of this multifunctional material and thus offers a seamless, climate-positive alternative to petroleum-based materials such as expanded polystyrene (EPS). This gives us the opportunity to make an international and cross-industry contribution to a functioning circular economy. By combining innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurial determination, the vision of a bioeconomy can be realized, creating a fertile environment for the generations of tomorrow.
