We are on a mission to build the world’s largest decentralized air-quality monitoring community to improve the air of our cities. Our vision is smart cities that connect communities in an active contribution to a better environment and quality of life.

Our journey, my friend, is often littered with obstacles and challenges, but the path is clear, and we move forward step by step. After years of tangled development on our smart urban electric bike, the Noordung, we finally kicked off our first production run at the start of this year. Just recently, we flung open the doors of our flagship Noordung Store right in the heart of Ljubljana, where we’ve started peddling our pride and joy.
Alongside the intriguing new products brewing in our labs, the coming years will be all about spreading our wings - internationalizing our sales and carving out a presence in foreign markets. We dream of our Noordung bikes and our bold vision of a decentralized air quality measurement network lighting up all corners of the globe.

And where are we now, you ask? Well, the development, industrialization, and certification of the Noordung smart electric bike have been wrapped up nice and clean. We're in the middle of rolling out our first production batch—60 bikes, each one a work of art. Our first customers? Yeah, we found 'em. You can already see Noordung bikes hitting the streets in Switzerland, Japan, and South Africa. The Noordung app? It's live on the Apple Store.
Right in the heart of Ljubljana, the city we call home, we’ve opened our flagship Noordung Store, where folks can drop by, test out the bikes, and get a taste of what we’re all about. Last year, we snagged the prestigious German Design Award for the top-notch design of our bike. Things are happening, and they’re happening fast.

We make our money a few different ways, from selling the Noordung bike to the Noordung Air device, and the Noordung Protect scarf, right down to subscriptions for the Aironauts. We’re cooking up a secondary line of sales too - helmets, locks, t-shirts, you name it - but that’s still simmering on the stove, so we’re not counting it in our projections yet. It’s early days, but no doubt it’ll bring in some extra cash. And then there’s the untapped goldmine, the air quality data, a sleeping giant we know is there but haven’t folded into our forecasts just yet. We figure that’ll be the main revenue stream once we hit the next phase, the heart of the operation.

In Noordung, we believe in realistic projections, and we prefer to plan our sales more conservatively, as it keeps us safe from the traps of hasty growth. In the coming year, our first foray into international markets, we aim to sell 360 Noordung bikes. By 2029, we’re looking to crank out 3,600 units annually. Next year, we’ll kick off sales of the Noordung Air with our first pilot project, launching 1,000 units, and in the years that follow, we plan to ramp up our production significantly, with a target of around 50,000 Noordung Air devices by 2029. Sure, we see our potential as much greater than these numbers, but we’d rather tread carefully than drown in a sea of unwarranted optimism.

Though we believe that Noordung bikes and our other creations will find their way into the hands of riders across the globe, and that our Aironauts will truly become a worldwide tribe, we're steering our course toward European markets in this first leg of the journey. The cities we’re eyeing aren’t just picked out of a hat—they’re chosen by a gritty mix of factors: well-worn bike lanes, a deep-rooted cycling culture, and the murky air that hangs heavy in too many streets, a problem as familiar in Europe as it is in cities across the world.
In the next six years, we'll carve out our space in markets with 35.8 million souls, across 22 cities in 14 European countries.

In the next six years, we’re aiming for the streets of Europe, where 35 million souls roam the avenues. Now, while our solution - this awareness of the air we breathe - benefits every one of those souls, we know not all of them will saddle up on a Noordung bike or clasp a Noordung Air device. But after narrowing it down by who’s got the means, the interest, the heart for it, we’ve carved our Serviceable Available Market to about 5% for the Noordung bike and 15% for the Noordung Air & Protect. That’s still a whole lot of kindred souls who could become our Aironauts. We believe the cutting-edge design of our products - from the most beautiful urban electric bike to the ultimate personal air-quality gadget - will draw in trailblazers, those who, like us, want to leave this world better than they found it.

Who’s our target audience, you might ask? Sure, we can break it down into demographics and socio-economic statuses, that’s easy enough. But what really makes our people our people is the soul they carry. We're talking about the spirit of those who believe change is possible. They know that each of us, in our own way, has a duty and the power to try and make this world better, to leave it a little more beautiful for the ones who come after. We call them Aironauts, because like those bold explorers who ventured into space, they’ve come to realize that the most precious thing we’ll ever have, the most beautiful thing we’ll ever know, is this planet we call home.

Noordung Protect is our bread-and-butter, the mass-market product that syncs up with both the Noordung Bike and Noordung Air. When one of those machines picks up on elevated air pollution levels, the rider can shield themselves with our Air Pollution Protective Mask. It’s crafted from the finest materials, with nanofilters that trap the tiny particles before they sneak into your lungs. We’re making these protective scarves in collaboration with the Faculty of Technology at the University of Ljubljana, keeping the grit where it belongs - out there, not in you.
