Hi, my name is Rich. Years ago, I started with a question... Can an average individual (or less than average, in my case) design and bring a project to fruition that positively impacts the entire world, starting with nothing (zero dollars, zero followers… with just an idea)? At 68 years old, I’m closing in on “over the hill” status, plus, I’m homeless, and pretty beat up. But I think I have one last hurrah in me.
That light-bulb moment grew into Acorn Energy & Agriculture, and a project I call Nexus. From humble beginnings, I poured my heart into designing carbon-negative campuses that produce clean energy, house data centers, create sustainable protein and produce, and provide waste solutions, all in a symbiotic ecosystem. I developed an app idea for a unique, perpetual, AI-powered crowdfunding platform. It’s pretty cool… Everyone wins and nobody loses.
I intend to use it to raise the $10 billion needed to “prime the pump” in an effort to unite humanity, end hunger, and restore the Earth. Without the need to repay capital and satisfy investors, the income it creates can be used to fund like-minded projects moving forward.
The idea is to begin moving our economic ship away from the iceberg of greed, toward a heading of purpose, in an effort to avoid disaster. Ultimately, I aim to gift this vision to a DAO by 2035, entrusting a global community to carry it forward.
