Satellites on Fire
Climateβ’Startup
Satellites on Fire is an AI-powered wildfire early alert system co-founded after witnessing the devastating impact of wildfires in Argentina. It integrates satellite imagery every 5 minutes, tower-mounted cameras, weather forecasts and proprietary AI algorithms to detect fires an average of 35 minutes faster than NASA's fire detection system. Unlike fragmented or hardware-heavy systems, it consolidates real-time data to deliver fast, accurate alerts. Operating in 21 countries and protecting over 56 million hectares, it has helped respond to 500 wildfires in 2025, preventing loss of life, displacement, biodiversity collapse, and economic damage. Satellites in fire mission is to stop wildfires before they spread and protect vulnerable communities and ecosystems worldwide.
