A small milestone for Soliston.
This is the first fully installed Soliston window operating in a real building.
Frameless on the inside, highly energy efficient, and designed as a smart platform for future functionality.
In the video, the window is unlocked by pressing the integrated frame button.
The window contains an Ebox with Zigbee communication, allowing us to communicate with the window remotely. At this stage, the window knows whether it is locked or unlocked, can be remotely unlocked, and includes a built-in humidity sensor to safeguard the recessed space housing the locks and Ebox.
The Ebox also includes ports for future upgrades such as sensors, lighting, speakers, or other features integrated directly into the window.
What began as sketches, prototypes, setbacks, and thousands of hours of work is now functioning as intended in the real world.
There is still much to do, but today is one of those moments where an idea becomes something you can actually touch.
The first Soliston is installed. We can communicate with it. Now development continues — soft close, automatic hinges, internal lighting, and much more.
