Hello everyone, My name is Melvin and I am the producer and game designer of THEGAME:CGN - a unique open-world game that photorealistically digitizes the city of Cologne on a 1:1 scale and makes it playable. My goal is to make Cologne experienceable in a completely new way. Players can explore the city, pursue real jobs such as taxi driver, paramedic or police officer and immerse themselves in a vivid simulation that reflects real life in Cologne. Imagine exploring the entire city of Cologne in a fully open-world video game, recreated in 1:1 scale with Unreal Engine 5. With THEGAME:CGN, players won’t just roam the streets – they can live a second life: drive real cars and experience authentic traffic, enter fully walkable shops and buildings, order real products directly from in-game stores, listen to local radio stations and music, and see real businesses integrated directly into the virtual city. This is more than a game – it’s an immersive digital twin of Cologne where entertainment and real-world commerce merge.
