The recent heartbreaking news about a 17-year-old Grade 11 student who tragically lost his life after being severely beaten at a school boarding house is a painful reminder of the urgent need for change in our education system. 💔 According to The National (PNG), this incident highlights a deeper issue — the lack of awareness among young people, from as early as Grade 3 through to university level, about their “basic human rights and constitutional protections”.
