Materials matter
A house like a tree. For the facade we are using the natural material expanded cork in combination with a timber frame construction – a unique combination that provides excellent insulation while also serving as a microhabitat for small organisms.
Using natural materials such as wood, cork, and sheep’s wool, not only reduces the CO2 footprint, but also provides a healthier indoor climate. Only untreated and natural materials are free of harmful substances, significantly improving indoor health and creating a natural ambiance.
The impact of natural materials on our health is measurable through a reduction in allergies, respiratory illnesses, and improved well-being of the residents. Especially in architectures focused on healing people, health-promoting interior design plays an increasingly important role.
