The Noordung bike ain’t just a bike. Nah, it’s part of the Internet of Things, though around here, we like to call it the “Internet on Wheels.” At the heart of this rolling vision is our Noordung Air app. Paired with the Noordung e-bike, it’s a one-off creation – a road-bound renegade with no twin in the world. See, while most of the cycling crowd’s busy counting calories, we’re out here breaking the mold. Noordung stands alone as the first production bike that tracks the air, charting the invisible dangers along your route in real-time. This is about breathing easy, about carving out a path through clean air or knowing when to steer clear if the sky’s thick with muck. Next up, we’re building something big. A decentralized air-quality monitoring network powered by the wheels of the cycling community itself. We’re talking maps of pollution, raw and real, and a street-level look at what we’re really breathing in our cities. ‘Cause without that on-the-ground data, we’re in the dark – the pollution hiding where you least expect it. This is our answer, our way to hand folks a tool, to hand communities the power to rise up and take a swing at the beast of urban air pollution.
