Good Afternoon,
I wanted to take a moment to share a recent addition to my portfolio. I have committed to an investment in BEEN London, the UK-based circular fashion business that transforms discarded materials into premium bags, accessories, and everyday products.
The transaction was acquired through the secondary market and is currently progressing through the transfer process. At the time of writing, the position remains pending final settlement and completion.
What appeals to me most is the company's mission-driven business model. BEEN London operates at the intersection of sustainability, manufacturing, and consumer products, giving new life to materials that would otherwise become waste through circular design and responsible production.
The business addresses a real and measurable challenge. Large quantities of leather, textiles, plastics, and other materials are discarded every year despite remaining suitable for reuse. Through its platform, BEEN London seeks to create value from these resources while contributing to a more sustainable and circular economy.
As with any private company investment, this position carries risk. The business operates in a competitive market and remains subject to operational, economic, consumer, and execution-related challenges. Future performance is not guaranteed, and there remains the possibility of partial or total loss of capital.
However, I believe BEEN London represents an interesting opportunity within the broader themes of sustainability, circular manufacturing, and responsible consumer behaviour. The company has developed a recognisable brand and operates in a sector that I believe will remain relevant for many years to come.
Further updates will be provided following settlement of the transaction and formal completion of the position.
