Who decides what kind of local food you have access to?
We trust in labeling schemes such as "Nyt Norge" when we want to support Norwegian food. But as can be seen in this picture, products with the Norwegian flag can actually originate from abroad, or be repackaged in Norway but grown somewhere else entirely.
This system makes it hard for people to know what they are actually buying and give local producers of food even less space in the store shelves.
Reddiksen believe that food labeling should be honest. Genuine local food shouldn't be hidden behind intermediaries and creative labels.
