How much of what you pay for your food actually goes to the farmer?
For a bread costing 35 NOK, the farmer only gets 2 NOK. The rest disappears in the industry, the store, and goes to taxes. And this doesn't just apply to bread, but almost all Norwegian products.
When such a huge part of the value chain is eaten up by the middlemen, it becomes almost impossible for producers make quality food for a living – and for you to support them, even if you want to.
Reddiksen are working towards giving as much of the food price as possible to those who actually make the food.
Food choice is about so much more than products – it's about who you choose to support.
