3) AI App for Dealing With Questions About Suffering
This project consists of developing an artificial intelligence application that paves the way for both a new scientific discipline and a global program to address the phenomenon of suffering in the world. Three interconnected components make up the project:
- An AI application is created to answer questions about suffering using a methodology based on big data. This tool aims to help specialists, interested organizations, and the general public to better understand and manage the various forms of suffering.
- This application contributes to establishing algoscience, a new theoretical discipline devoted to the systematic study of suffering. The role of this field of study is to provide a comprehensive framework for understanding suffering, its causes and the interventions it requires.
- These efforts are part of the development of the World Center for the Control of Excessive Suffering, an enterprise whose mission is to optimally minimize, through coordinated action on a global scale, the occurrences of consciousness that are too unpleasant.
Ultimately, the full realization of this application project will require millions of dollars to establish algoscience and billions of dollars to implement systematic interventions to control excessive suffering. However, a modest investment of around $500,000 should suffice to prove the validity of the project by carrying out a pilot program with the following objectives:
- Produce a prototype AI system.
- Create a basic theoretical framework to deal with matters related to suffering.
- Demonstrate the possibility of global implementation.
- Consolidate the initial foundations of the academic discipline and the global action center.
