I can see this being an unpopular post...but I'd love to hear some of your thoughts on this. If humanity is able to drastically improve how we live with new technologies, ecosystems, and more, do you believe there may be a negative side to this? My thinking is that, for example, if we adopt renewable technologies, wouldn't the mass adoption of these in turn hurt another aspect of what we were trying to save in the first place? What would be some potential fixes for this? I'm a big believer in not putting all your eggs in one basket, so my opinion, though only surface layer without further discussion, is adopting as many solutions as possible to offset the risk.
