British AI cloud provider Nscale has filed for a US initial public offering after reporting rapid growth. Revenue reached $140.6 million in the first half of 2026, up from $10.4 million a year earlier, although the Nvidia-backed company recorded a net loss of $1.02 billion. Nscale says its total contracted value has grown beyond $103 billion.
Anthropic and Accenture have announced an artificial-intelligence safety partnership. Each plans to commit at least $1 billion over five years to expand independent evaluation of frontier AI models, including red-team testing, alignment assessments and examination of model safeguards.

OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman is due to brief the United Nations Security Council next week during the UN General Assembly in New York. The meeting will focus on artificial intelligence and international security, including international coordination and shared safety standards.
