Three kids went back to school this week.
In July 2025, we met Catherine during our first Community Needs Assessment in Kajiado County. Her three school-age children had missed half the year. No funds. No support system. No hope.
By January 2026, all three are in class.
WaziCare+ launched to eliminate Kenya's 530 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births through motorcycle mobile clinics.
But we learned this: keeping mothers alive means keeping their hope alive.
Catherine needed her children in school to live again. Through a partnership with Johanna Tatlow, we made it happen.
