What if animal protection could be built into the very DNA of all businesses—from pet food to luxury, from infrastructure to community—and made more profitable than exploitation? JLCO is building that world.
Or as we like to say: if LVMH, WWF, and Amazon had an animal-protection-driven baby
—this is what it would look like.
Meet Josefin Liljeqvist — The Swedish namesake luxury brand changing fashion from the inside out.
Part of JLCO, our first community brand, is the award-winning Josefin Liljeqvist — a Swedish luxury brand pioneering ethics and animal protection through traceability.
The brand’s bold vision exposed a critical gap: no existing system could track animal protection throughout a product’s lifecycle. So we built one. The technology powering Josefin Liljeqvist today became its own brand within JLCO (called Responsible Systems)— originally developed to meet Josefin’s needs, now made to reshape industries beyond fashion.
Josefin Liljeqvist challenges the €1.7T fashion market by using creativity as a tool for systemic change. From sourcing to second life, each product is tracked via digital IDs, ethics specs, and transparent animal protection data.
We launched the world’s first traceable leather footwear — and made it educational and joyful: clients pick up their pieces at sustainable cafés and restaurants, turning fashion into an experience of food, values, and exploration.
A farm–food–fashion universe, where caring is the new luxury.
@jlco.insp.social (The Josefin Liljeqvist Company) is a mission to accelerate animal protection in one of the world's largest industries: animal produce market.
Animal produce market (the majority of products originating from landliving farm-animals) is bigger than automobile, oil, and on par with tech at 5,8T USD - yet it's one of the most unspoken industries, unregulated, untraceable and ethical.
Our first market is fashion, as it shares supply chains with agriculture and allows for an interconnected traceability.
We have a knowledge partnership with C4C supported by the World Bank and is the inaugural company to represent animal protection in the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network - to mention a few things.
Looking forward to connecting with potential investors, finding collaborators and shape meaningful partnerships here on @inspired.insp.social
As tools in our mission to accelerate global animal protection, we work with three verticals.
1. Community
2. Infrastructure
3. Impact
Together, they create a self-sufficient ecosystem that economically rewards evidence-based animal protection.
Our first community brand is our founder's @josefin.insp.social namesake sustainable luxury brand: Josefin Liljeqvist. The brand behind the world's first traceable leather footwear.

What if animal protection could be built into the very DNA of all businesses—from pet food to luxury, from infrastructure to community—and made more profitable than exploitation? JLCO is building that world using the following building blocks: Community, Infrastructure & Impact.
Or, as we like to say: if LVMH, WWF, and Amazon had an animal-protection-driven baby
—this is what it would look like.
Our first community brand, the namesake sustainable luxury brand Josefin Liljeqvist, innovated the world's first traceable leather footwear and the inaugural company to represent animal protection in the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network.
Our first infrastructure brand, the design, sourcing, and traceability platform named Responsible Systems is the operating system behind the Josefin Liljeqvist brand and offers traceability and ethics transparency from design to secondlifeanimal-derived goods. First market: food and fashion.
Our first two impact works have been to contribute to a national policy for animal derived goods in Sweden - making it include animal welfare. Our second contribution has been to the global "Cattle traceability for food and fashion" by Textile Exchange.
JLCO is on a mission to accelerate animal protection in one of the world's largest industries, bigger than oil, double the size of fashion and on par with the tech industry: the 5,8 TEUR animal produce market.
